Peter Crosby has over 45 years of experience in the medical device and life sciences sectors. He has served as CEO of six medical device companies in four countries and has held board positions — including Chairman roles — at 13 companies. His education in Australia was in Biomedical Engineering, and he holds more than 50 issued U.S. patents.
He was a member of the founding team of Cochlear, the global leader in implantable hearing prostheses, and Peter later founded and led Euronext-listed Mainstay Medical, guiding the company through its IPO and regulatory approval of its implantable neurostimulator for chronic low back pain. Over his career, he has raised more than $200 million in public and private capital and helped bring numerous innovative implantable medical devices to market worldwide.
