📌 Job Title: Production Operator
📍 Location: Milan (Hybrid)
As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing of Tensive’s implantable medical devices. You will contribute to production activities carried out in a controlled environment, ensuring compliance with quality standards, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements. As part of the Production team, you will collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs and Engineering teams to support manufacturing operations and drive continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing activities for implantable medical devices in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment.
- Execute production processes according to approved procedures and work instructions.
- Ensure production traceability through the accurate and timely completion of production records and manufacturing documentation.
- Participate in the management of production nonconformities, contributing to root cause investigations and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs (QA&RA) team on the management of quality system documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements (Must Have)
We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing activities, have strong attention to detail, and are eager to contribute to the production of innovative medical devices.
- Education: Technical diploma (e.g., Industrial, Chemical, Biomedical, or Biotechnology Technician) or a Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
- Language: Basic proficiency in English.
- Safety: Knowledge of safety principles related to the handling of chemical substances.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Soft Skills: Precision, reliability, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- IT Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Requirements (Nice to have)
- Previous experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience working in cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience in drafting technical documentation.
What We Offer & Recruitment Process
Applications for the Production Operator position will be collected throughout June and July, with screening and selection activities taking place during the application period. The successful candidate is expected to join the company in July. The selection process includes an initial introductory interview, followed by a more in-depth discussion focused on the candidate’s knowledge and experience, as well as a brief interview in English.
The company offers a structured onboarding program, including a two-month induction, training, and mentoring period designed to support the successful integration of the selected candidate. Depending on the candidate’s profile and assessment, the company offers either an apprenticeship contract or a permanent employment contract under the Chemical Industry SME collective agreement (CCNL Chimico Confapi). The gross annual salary (RAL) will range from €23,500 to €28,000, depending on the selected candidate’s qualifications, knowledge, and experience.
The compensation package also includes:
